Rosteelcom organizes computer courses for elders in Alaverdi

On April 26 Rostelecom Armenia launched Internet Alphabet in Armenia courses for people aged 50+ in Alaverdi, Lori.

The project features 12 courses, while the group involves 10 participants aged 60-75.

The company informed that the program will be implemented in Armenian for the first time.

“Rostelecom Armenia attaches special importance to the implementation of this project in Armenia. I am convinced that all representatives of our society should have the opportunity to acquire minimum set of skills to benefit from computers and Internet, as it is impossible to imagine modern life without Innovative Technologies. Besides, our cooperation with different centers in marzes contributed to creating new job opportunities, which is yet another achievement of our program. We plan to expand the framework of the project implantation, involving new urban and rural communities,” General Director of Ucom Hayk Faramazyan said.

The project will be soon launched in Amasia, Shirak.
