VivaCell-MTS and “Golden Apricot” sum up results of the first Web Apricot Festival

Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS and organizational committee of “Golden Apricot” film festival summed up the results of the first Web Apricot online film festival and announced the start of the next one.

The grand prize (USD 1000) of Web Apricot was awarded to “Autumn Sun”, film by Diana Kardumyan and the special prize (USD 500) went to the film director Arsen Hayrapetyan for “Shelter to Crossed Destinies”, Mediamax reports.

“Golden Apricot” Director Harutyun Khachatryan stated that cinema industry is developing in Armenia particularly owing to VivaCell-MTS support.

He noted that the second “Web Apricot” starts from today and the applications for participating in the festival will be accepted till August –September 2012.

“Web Apricot” started on November 15, 2011 on the initiative of “Golden Apricot” international film festival and Webtv.am internet TV.
